Heero can be thought of as the main character in Gundam Wing. Heero has a unknown, dark and mysterious past. Heero plans everything perfectly, has no room for erros, he will do anything to complete his mission, if that means suicide so be it. Heero is thought to be the perfect solider. But he has feelings for Relena Peacecraft and tries to hide it, maybe not so perfect after all...

Duo is the free spirited and most relaxed pilot of the group. At a young age he was taken in and raised in the MAWELL church. After the church was destroyed, he took the last name MAXWELL, and called him self "GOD of DEATH". Duo will kill anyone that stands in his path. Duo has a different personality from the other pilots, his personality comes in handy more than once.

Quatre is the most peaceful and kindest of the pilots. Quatre doesnt fight unless he has too, he will apologize to his enemies before crushing them. Quatre is the only son of the wealthy Winner family, but gave everything up in order to fight for what he believes in. Quatre also saved the leader of the Maganac Corp leader, Rasid and earned Rasid and the Maganac Corp's respect, they became Quatre's friends and stayed with him, through good and bad times.

Trowa, out of all the gundam pilots is the quietest of all. Trowa hides himself in a traveling circus. When he is unsure of himself, he compares himself to Heero. This proves to be a weakness because he acts too quickly without thinking through them. Trowa also pretends to be other people. After he witnessed the death of the real Trowa, he called himself Trowa. Before that he called himself "no-name". Trowa finds a sense of friendship with the gundam pilots that he never felt before, this allows him to feel...

Wufei is strict, proud, and arrogant. This makes Wufei sometimes really annoying to be around. Wufei has a strong sense of honor. He can almost never see the big picture. Wufei doesnt like accepting help so he doesn't get along relly well with the other gundam pilots, but he still has respect for Heero and Major Sally. Even though Wufei may be annoying, he's an important member of the team.

Relena is the daughter of the Sank Kingdom, therefore the heir of the throne. Her older sibiling is Milliardo Peacecraft, but unlike her brother she believes in TOTAL pacifism. Relena was taken under the Darlian family and she considers them family. Relena rose to be the the leader of the Sank Kingdom. Later on she becomes the Queen of the World under OZ. Relena has feelings for Heero but he doesn't usually return them.

Milliardo felt that his hands were stained with blood so he changed his name to Zechs Merquise and allied with Treize. He hid is past identity under a mask and graduated with the highest marks at the Specials" Lake Victoria academy along with Noin. Noin and Milliardo has a connection and she always stays by his side. Milliardo is a superb pilot and has a great sense of honour...like Wufei. He secretly watches over Relena, even though he never shows it, he cares for her alot. He now fights to correct the mistakes he made in the past. He is a strong person inside out.

Lucrezia Noin was an OZ officer at the beginning of the series, but after she realizes what OZ has been hiding and she resigns from OZ. Noin knows of Zechs real identity since she has been so close to him for so many years. She along with Zecs, graduated with the highest marks in Specials' Lake Victoria academy. She has feelings for Zechs, and because of that she becomes friends with Relena and acts as her guardian/protector in the absence of Zech's. Noin aids the gundam pilot in any way she possibly can.

Treize is a very different character in this series. He is the member of the Romefellar Foundation and the leader of the Specials. He later becomes the leader of OZ. Treize was once friends with Zechs, so he knowns of Zechs' true identity. Treize finds war beautiful but mobile suits disgusting...

Lady Une is an OZ officer under the command of Treize. Serving Treize has caused her much confusion, which caused her her split personality. One personality is creul, mean, evil and strict. The other personality is kind and wishes for peace. She is actually a mix of the two seperate personality. It is only after she loses her loved one, then she finds her way.

Mobile Suits: controlled mobile suits for the white fang

Dorothy was taught under total pacifisim and looks up to Relena, but has an odd passion for war. She enjoys the war, death, fighting, and suffering suffered by the soliders... She looks up to Milliardo, and because of that, she started controlling mobile suits for the "White Fang".

Sally used to be a major in the Alliance, but now acts as a rebel helping the gundam pilots, like Noin. Sally has a bond with Heero and especially with Wufei... Sally is one of the few woman that Wufei respects. She is an important ally with her skills and expertise.

Catherine is a very smart, skilled and cheerful person. She works with Trowa along with the circus, she throws knives. Catherine is an orphan, so she treats Trowa as her little brother. Catherine is a character that is not afraid of standing for what she belives in.

Hilde worked for OZ, and she was very enthusiastic about it but after meeting Duo, she found out about the truth, and helped Duo and the pilots as much as she can. She gets along best with Duo because they seem to have a bond, and they seem to care for each other, they worked together on Salvage Grounds.
